Open Access Policy

The Healthmed Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (HJPS) is a fully open-access journal. This means that all published content is freely available to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, and link to the full text of articles without any subscription or registration barriers.

Why Open Access?

  • Wider Reach: Research is accessible to anyone with an internet connection, including researchers, students, practitioners, and the general public
  • Greater Impact: Open access articles are cited more frequently and have broader societal impact
  • Faster Dissemination: Research findings are immediately available upon publication
  • Compliance: Many funders and institutions require open access publication for funded research

License

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing anyone to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.

Funding the Model

Our open access model is funded through Article Processing Charges (APCs) paid upon acceptance. We offer fee waivers for researchers from developing countries who cannot afford the charges.

Self-Archiving

Authors are encouraged to self-archive their published articles in institutional and subject repositories. The published version (Version of Record) can be deposited immediately upon publication.
