HJPS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality through a rigorous peer review process.
All manuscripts submitted to HJPS undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed throughout the review process to eliminate bias and ensure objectivity.
Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the subject area of the manuscript. We maintain a diverse and international pool of reviewers to ensure comprehensive evaluation.
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:
All manuscripts and review communications are treated as confidential. Reviewers must not share or discuss the manuscript with anyone outside the review process.
Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest before accepting a review assignment. If a conflict exists, an alternative reviewer will be assigned.
Authors may appeal an editorial decision by submitting a detailed letter explaining the grounds for the appeal. Appeals are reviewed by the editor-in-chief and an independent editorial board member.
