Author Guidelines

Thank you for choosing to submit your manuscript to the Healthmed Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (HJPS). Please follow these guidelines carefully to ensure a smooth submission and review process.

Manuscript Preparation

General Format

  • Manuscripts should be written in clear, concise English
  • Use Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx)
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12-point
  • Line spacing: Double-spaced throughout
  • Margins: 2.5 cm (1 inch) on all sides
  • Pages should be numbered consecutively

Manuscript Structure

Original research articles should follow the IMRAD format:

  1. Title Page: Full title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding author details
  2. Abstract: Structured abstract (250-300 words) with Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion
  3. Keywords: 4-6 keywords
  4. Introduction: Background, literature review, and study objectives
  5. Materials and Methods: Detailed methodology
  6. Results: Findings with tables and figures
  7. Discussion: Interpretation and comparison with existing literature
  8. Conclusion: Summary of key findings
  9. Acknowledgments: Funding sources and contributions
  10. References: Vancouver style citation format

References

References should be formatted in Vancouver style and numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text. Use Arabic numerals in square brackets [1], [2], [3].

Tables and Figures

  • Tables should be numbered consecutively and include a descriptive title
  • Figures should be of high resolution (minimum 300 dpi)
  • All tables and figures must be cited in the text

Ethical Considerations

Research involving human subjects or animals must have appropriate ethical approval. The approval details should be mentioned in the Methods section.
