Guide for Authors

This comprehensive guide provides all the necessary information for preparing and submitting your manuscript to the Healthmed Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (HJPS).

Before You Begin

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure:

• Your work is original and has not been published elsewhere
• Your manuscript is not under consideration by another journal
• All co-authors have approved the submission
• Ethical approvals have been obtained where necessary

Manuscript Types

• Original Research: Full-length research articles (3,000-6,000 words)
• Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of specific topics (4,000-8,000 words)
• Short Communications: Brief reports of significant findings (1,500-2,500 words)
• Case Reports: Clinical case presentations (1,500-3,000 words)
• Letters to the Editor: Brief communications (500-1,000 words)

Language

Manuscripts must be written in English. Authors whose first language is not English are encouraged to have their manuscript proofread by a native English speaker before submission.

Formatting Requirements

• File format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
• Font: Times New Roman, 12-point
• Spacing: Double-spaced throughout
• Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
• References: Vancouver citation style
